Imagination

Imagine:

It's past midnight.
The road is silent.
The pathway is empty.

You are walking alone on the pathway on your way home.
Streetlamps shine brightly on the empty road on your left.
On your right is a hill with tall trees, forming a "forest".

You are listening to your MP3 player as you walk home alone on this path.
As you walk, your shadow is cast on the path by the streetlamps.
You saw your shadow and another shadow which isn't yours on the path.
There's someone following behind you.

You begin to fasten your pace.
You sense that the one behind you too did that as you quicken your pace.

What would you do?
The road is empty without cars and buses.
The path is empty too without any other people walking in it.
Among the trees you could hear crickets singing at night.

How do you ask for help if the person following behind you is a Bad guy?
And mind you, you are listening to MP3 player.

1) You cry for help?
2) You did nothing just wait and see what the person behind you would do?


Just typing this out as it happened to me. But it wasnt in the middle of the night, it was in the evening 7pm but the sky is dark. Indeed I was alone as I walk home on the pathway. Not much vehicles are on the road. And after crossing the traffic light, I really did sense someone following behind me.
